Book Amberly Neese for Your Event

Your event doesn't need another nice talk.

It needs something people will actually remember.

I'm Amberly, a Christian speaker, author, and clean comedian who brings biblical truth with humor, honesty, and zero drama. I speak at women's retreats, church conferences, and corporate events where people want more than platitudes and PowerPoint slides.

If you want your attendees quoting me months later (in a good way), let's talk.

Sound familiar?

You've Been to That Event

You know the one.

The speaker was fine.
Polite.
Inspirational.
Said all the right things.

And by the time you got to your car, you couldn't remember a single thing they said.

Your people deserve better.

They deserve a speaker who:

Actually makes them laugh (not just smile politely)

v

Tells the truth about struggle instead of pretending everything's fine

Gives them biblical content they can use, not just feel-good fluff

Leaves them thinking about it weeks later

What You Get

Biblical Content That Actually Matters

I'm not here to give you seven steps to your best life or tell you to hustle harder. I teach Scripture in a way that makes people think, "Oh, THAT'S what that verse actually means." I've been teaching the Bible for 20+ years, in college classrooms, church settings, and women's events, and I know how to make it stick.

Humor That Lands

I'm a stand-up comedian. Not the kind who throws in a few jokes to warm up the crowd. I perform actual comedy sets at corporate events, fundraisers, and church functions. My humor is observational, self-deprecating, and safe for your most conservative grandmother and your most progressive niece to laugh at together. (Which, in 2026, is basically a superpower.)

Honesty About the Hard Stuff

I talk about doubt, loneliness, friendship struggles, family conflict, and why we're all so tired of pretending we have it together. I don't sugarcoat it, but I also don't leave people in the pit. I give them biblical truth that actually helps, not platitudes that fit on a coffee mug.

Energy That Keeps People Engaged

I've been doing this long enough to know when an audience is checked out. I don't read from notes. I don't drone on for 45 minutes. I keep it moving, keep it interesting, and make sure people are actually paying attention instead of mentally planning their grocery list.

Professionalism That Makes Your Job Easier

I show up on time. I bring my own tech. I don't need someone to hold my hand through the AV setup. I work with your schedule, your theme, and your goals. I make your job easier, not harder.

Popular Topics

I can also develop talks specific to your event theme or needs. Let's talk about what your audience actually needs to hear.

Faith & Doubt

Based on my book "Untangling Faith"

What do you do when faith doesn't feel certain? When you've prayed the prayers and read the verses but you still wonder if God actually cares? This talk explores the questions Jesus asked and gives permission to wrestle with doubt instead of pretending it doesn't exist.

Friendship & Community

Based on my book "The Friendship Initiative"

Making friends as an adult is weirdly hard. We're all too busy, too tired, and too convinced everyone else has their people figured out. This talk explores what Jesus-style friendship actually looks like, and how to build it in real life.

Navigating Disagreement

Based on my book "Common Ground"

Your family dinners are a minefield. Your social media feed makes you want to scream. This talk explores biblical examples of people who disagreed deeply but stayed in relationship, and gives practical tools for doing the same.

Belonging vs. Performing

Based on my book "The Belonging Project"

You've done everything right, so why does it feel so wrong? This talk unpacks the difference between performing belonging and actually experiencing it, and what it means to stop hustling for approval.

Where I Speak

Women's Retreats: Weekend keynotes, breakout sessions, or full-retreat speaking
Church Conferences: Multi-session teaching or single keynotes
Leadership Gatherings: Talks on communication, connection, and managing people well
Mother-Daughter Events: Talks that bridge generational gaps with humor and honesty
Volunteer & Staff Appreciation: Encouragement for burned-out servants
Corporate & Fundraising Events: Clean comedy performances for secular audiences

If your event doesn't fit these categories but you think I'd be a good fit, reach out anyway. Let's figure it out.
